As the days are passing by the population is going on increasing. The death rate is decreasing due to new experiments and advanced medicines but the birth rate is growing every second. Every second there are 50 new babies that are taking birth. Due to the growing population the world is meeting crisis of the basic needs that is food, clothing and shelter. Therefore it is very necessary to do birth control. In today's world there are many ways to control the increasing population. Its not only that, that the female can only take steps for birth control but now the male can also do their bit.

Methods of birth control:

The best method to control birth is that one can avoid sexual intercourse. Abstinence is the best way to avoid pregnancy because if one does not have a sexual intercourse then the chances of the sperm reaching the egg is null. The other advantages of abstinence are that a person is not at a risk of accruing a sexually transmitted disease and it is free of cost. The other method is outer course. Outer course is the exact opposite of intercourse; outer course involves sex play from the external parts of the body which will help the vaginal penetration from not taking place. There also other kinds of barrier methods like male condom. A condom is a kind of protective glove like thing that fits over the erect male penis; the male condom prevents the sperms from spilling into the vagina. Condoms are generally made up of thin latex, plastic or animal tissue. The range of effectiveness for condoms depends on how well one uses them. The condom also prevents a male from getting infected with AIDS. There are also surgical methods that can prevent pregnancy. Vasectomy is a surgery that involves sealing, tying or cutting a man's vas deferens. Performed on an outpatient basis, vasectomy does not require general anesthesia. After the surgery that sperm can be extracted from the testes and used to induce pregnancy.

Draw back of birth control methods:

Most of the time, it is difficult for people to sustain from sexual intercourse. The condom is only effective from 86 to 98 percent. A vasectomy can be reversed 75 percent of the time within the first two years after that it is impossible to reverse it.
